Student Management
- You can now view a student’s age directly from the student’s profile! No more doing calendar math or checking the student list
- We improved the performance of the message history page to reduce the lag that occurs when trying to view thousands of messages at once
- Setting your default naming format to “Last, First” was causing student names to be imported backwards (the importer’s default is “First Last”). It’s not backwards day, so we got those turned back around.
- We know birthdays can be stressful, but now the sign-up form no longer blames the birthday field if something goes wrong
- We fixed an issue where using “Add Another Student” when adding a new student manually was causing two different billing profile options to appear
- We’ve removed the ability to save a blank email template with no content (this would be like photocopying a blank sheet of paper in order to save a blank sheet of paper)
- When downloading the student list, you will now see only one notice regarding your download instead of two
- You can now add a parent to an existing family (without having to summon the support team for back-up)
Calendar & Attendance
- You can now click on a tutor’s name in the calendar and it will bring you right to their tutor profile!
- We improved the performance of the bulk attendance page to reduce the lag that occurs when checking off hundreds of clients
- The tutor drop-down menu in the Book from Availability form is now in alphabetical order
- Deleted categories no longer haunt newly created events (like the ghosts of bad decisions)
Families & Invoices
- When choosing to “Save and Add Another” when adding a transaction, the date field no longer resets
- Add Transaction no longer clears the amount after selecting a family from the dropdown. The form has stopped sabotaging itself.
- You could always delete a charge from the transaction menu, but you can now also successfully delete a charge from the Edit Charge menu too!
- We fixed an issue that was preventing sales tax to be removed from all accounts retroactively
- We added more data that can be pulled from invoices that can be included in triggers within Zapier
Website Builder & Online Booking Forms
- We improved the way conversion tracking is explained within a booking form’s confirmation page (this isn’t the time to be mysterious)
- Website builder now warns about character limits before you write a whole novel
- Sign up forms will no longer require contact information from adult students if they’re being added to a family that already has a family contact
- We fixed a bug that was preventing booking forms from submitting when online payments were enabled
- Website “Hero images” can no longer be hyperlinked (this is one superpower this “hero” will have to live without)
News & Blog Posts
- Blog/News Posts now appear as a slide-in window instead of a new page
- The News & Blog Posts window now supports video files! Welcome to 2005, but better
- We fixed the bulk pin setting in News & Blog Posts. Now, pinning actually pins everything instead of just flipping the pin status to its opposite
General/Other
- Difficult time zone searching? Not on our watch! We improved the search functions of time zones throughout the app
- We updated the design of the Roles & Privileges menu in Tutors & Staff. Say goodbye to “Can my tutors see this” questions!
- Lists of group tags are now listed in alphabetical order everywhere
- Lent items on the Home Page now appear without needing a refresh
- Resubscribing to an old My Music Staff membership plan no longer causes issues accessing the Membership tab
- Mileage table now updates immediately after adding a trip instead of on refresh
- The mobile mileage flow now appear as a slide-in window instead of a new page
- Report dropdown filters now correctly return your results (Searching no longer just tries, it succeeds)
- We fixed an issue that was notifying all students that a new resource was added to Online Resources, even if the student doesn’t have access
- We’ve clarified the error message that you receive when trying to upload a duplicate file or a file that’s too large to Online Resources
- Various cosmetic tweaks throughout
